What are your hours?
Drop-off hours are between 9AM and 11AM on Saturdays. Typical turnaround time will be between 30 minutes to an hour and a half depending on the service requested. Timeframes may be longer depending on how many instruments are ahead of yours and are subject to change. In rare cases, pick-up may be next day if multiple customers are booked same day. Pick-up times are between 1PM and 3PM same day or 9AM to 11AM on Sunday. Clean Tones operates from 9AM to 3PM on Saturdays only due to work scheduling.
What is the appointment process?
Click on the Book An Appointment tab on our website. Fill out the form and include full name, phone number, email (for receipt purposes) and select which service you will be using. Click the select button and Clean Tones will get back to you within 24 hours. We do not book full cleanings same day, as this can take time and should be booked ahead to ensure you get a spot booked.
Do you provide set ups with your services?
Clean Tones is a cleaning and restringing service only. For any set up or repair inquiries, please contact your local guitar tech.
Do I need a gig bag or a hardshell case in order to drop off my instrument?
Yes, you need proper storage for your instrument before drop-off. Anything can happen to your instrument when it is outside of a proper bag/case, including issues pertaining to climate (instrument being exposed to really hot or cold temperatures). You cannot drop off your instrument to Clean Tones without proper protection for your instrument.
Do you clean blood off of guitars?
NO! Any instrument that has blood on it will be rejected immediately. Blood is classified as a biohazard and medical waste.
Will you accept debit/credit card?
At this time, Clean Tones only accepts cash payments. Payments are to be made upon pick-up of instrument.
Will I get a receipt?
Clean Tones will provide you with a PDF copy via email of your receipt with details of the service you requested.
